Job Description:

As an MFL Teacher you will play a pivotal role in shaping the linguistic and cultural competencies of our students. Your commitment to excellence in education will help our learners achieve their language-learning goals while fostering a love for languages and cross-cultural understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dynamic Instruction: Design and deliver engaging MFL lessons that cater to diverse learning styles, creating an atmosphere where language learning comes alive.
  • Cultural Enrichment: Immerse students in the rich tapestry of language and culture, encouraging them to explore the world through language acquisition.
  • Progress Monitoring: Conduct ongoing assessments to track student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to ensure every student reaches their potential.
  • Inclusive Environment: Cultivate an inviting, inclusive, and participatory classroom atmosphere where students are motivated to actively engage with the language and their peers.
  • Collaborative Innovation: Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance and adapt the MFL curriculum, sharing insights and best practices to continually improve the language-learning experience.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of student attendance, performance, and development, ensuring transparency and accountability in the learning process.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is absolutely essential: Your certification as a qualified teacher is a testament to your expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality education.
  • Language Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in at least one modern foreign language (e.g., Spanish, French, German) showcases your command of language and your ability to inspire students.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and classroom management skills create a dynamic learning environment where students excel academically and personally.
  • Passion for Education: A genuine passion for education and an unwavering commitment to the holistic development and success of every student under your guidance.
  • Motivational Teaching Style: The innate ability to inspire and motivate students, nurturing their curiosity and drive to achieve their language-learning goals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
