Are you a passionate and dedicated maths graduate looking to kickstart your career in education? We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a secondary school in Chorlton starting in September.

Responsibilities:
As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the mathematics department, assisting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting students on an individual or small group basis, providing guidance and assistance with mathematical concepts.
2. Assisting with the planning and preparation of lessons, including the creation of resources and materials.
3. Conducting one-on-one or small group interventions to support students who may be struggling with specific topics.
4. Marking and providing feedback on student work, helping to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
5. Collaborating with teachers to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
6. Supporting the overall ethos of the school and contributing to the wider school community.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following requirements:
1. Hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
2. Have a genuine passion for mathematics education and a desire to inspire young minds.
3. Strong subject knowledge in mathematics, including proficiency in algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
5. The ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
6. Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
Salary and Benefits:
The monthly salary for this position will range between £1500 - £1700, depending on qualifications and experience. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
