MFL teacher - Wigan

Are you a MFL teacher looking for a new role within a rapidly improving school in Wigan?

Do you have experience teaching both French and Spanish to students in KS3 and KS4?

If so, Teaching Personnel have the perfect opportunity for you in one of our client schools that are looking to employ a MFL teacher in February 2019.

  • Full time MFL Teacher- February 2019
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£22,917 - £38,633)
  • Teaching KS3, KS4 and preparing students for key GCSE exams
  • Hold QTS and a PGCE specialising within MFL
  • Experience teaching French and Spanish

This position has opened within our school due to an planned staffing gap within the schools MFL teaching faculty, the Headteacher of our school now wishes to meet with available teachers at their convenience.

To be considered for the post you must Hold QTS and a PGCE specialising within MFL.

The school are looking for an experienced MFL teacher that has experience teaching both French and Spanish to students ranging from ages 11-16. You will have a track record of achieving excellent results at GCSE level and are able to teach engaging lessons that can help generate interactivity in class, making lessons more enjoyable for students. You will be taking on a full time table where you will have full marking and planning responsibilities.

  • The proportion of pupils who speak English as an additional language is lower than the national average.
  • The school is situated in the centre of Wigan and is in an excellent location if you are travelling via public transport.
  • If commuting by car then the school has onsite car parking and is just minutes away from the A58.
  • Is smaller than the average Secondary school and currently has around 700 pupils on roll
