A Specialist Secondary Setting in Failsworth are currently looking to recruit an abundance of Mental Health Support Workers to start after October half term week commencing 5th November.

The Setting is a Specialist Provision which caters for pupils who display signs of challenging behaviour. These challenging behaviours may include: SEMH needs, extreme challenging behaviours and physical challenging behaviour. Due to the nature of the needs of the pupils the Head of Site would prefer applicants to have experience working within a challenging Setting. This may be a Pupil Referral Unit, Children's residential Home, Prison or a Secure Unit.

The ideal applicants will have:

- High levels of emotional and physical resilience

- The ability to build positive working relationships with pupils, staff and parents

- Experience in a PRU or a similar Setting

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
