Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant
Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic graduate to support our client secondary schools Maths department on a full time basis. The successful applicant will have excellent subject knowledge and will be able to support KS3 and KS4 pupils in class, on a one-to-one basis and small group basis.
As a Maths Teaching Assistant, you will help members of the department with the preparation and planning of lessons across KS3 and KS4. You will also offer subject specialist support, helping students with general classroom queries and supporting the teacher throughout lessons. When appropriate, you will also deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to help raise attainment and support pupils who require additional Maths support.
We are looking for a motivated and hard working graduate who has a passion for their subject specialism and has a genuine desire to help all students achieve their potential. This role is ideal for any graduates who may be considering a career in Maths teaching but wish to gain practical paid experience prior to enrolling in formal teacher training.
Previous experience working with 11-16 year olds is desirable.
