Graduate / Maths Teaching Assistant Specification

For the Maths Teaching Assistant role, you must have:

*1st, 2:1 or 2:2 grade in a Maths related degree

*All Maths Teaching Assistants must have ‘C’ grade in A Level Maths or above

*GSCE ‘C’ in English to work in a secondary school as a Maths Teaching Assistant and trainee teacher

About the Maths Teaching Assistant Role

*Working 1:1 and in small group with talented and challenging pupils

*Increasing grades of middle pupils, D’s to C’s, C’s to B’s etc

*Taking constructive criticism and positive praise well from teachers and fellow professionals

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
