Job description

Support assistant required within the Maths department for a school in the Wakefield area.

  • Full time position available
  • Strong Maths subject knowledge required.
  • Competitive daily rates of up to £80 depending on skills and experience

I am currently working with an Outstanding located in the Wakefield area. The school is a larger than average school with roughly 1500 pupils in attendance. The school is committed to making an exciting, engaging and inclusive learning environment, where both pupils and staff needs are supported within the learning community that they have created.

The school is currently looking for a Support Assistant to work within the Maths department, supporting children on a 1:1 basis and providing small group intervention sessions.

Successful applicants should have:

• Good Maths subject knowledge.

• Experienced supporting in maths lessons and providing support.

• Be able to create an understanding and nurturing learning environment.

• Have strong behaviour management techniques.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
