A lovely, two form entry primary school in the Middleton area of Manchester, M24 are seeking a full time teaching assistant to join their staffing team on a full time basis from September. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Maths or equivalent and will be looking to begin a career in education. The successful candidate will be working across KS1 & KS2 to deliver small group intervention sessions in maths to help raise attainment and improve practice.

The school is dedicated to ensuring that ‘all children achieve their best’ and was praised by OFSTED for providing a warm and welcoming environment to all pupils and staff. The school are looking to improve their practice by offering extra support for struggling pupils to enable them achieve their best in key subject area. The successful Teaching Assistant would be expected to deliver small group/1:1 intervention sessions to children across KS1 and KS2 whilst adapting sessions to suit the age and ability of the children.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
