Maths teacher - Wigan based 11-18 Church of England Secondary School
With a member of the Maths department due to go on maternity leave from November 2018, our client school located in Wigan wish to appoint a temporary Maths teacher for the 2018/19 academic year.
- Full time Maths teacher required from October/November 2018
- Covering maternity leave until July 2019
- Both experienced and Newly Qualified Maths teacher welcome to apply
- Taking on a timetable consisting of both KS3 and GCSE
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£100 - £160 per day)
"Due to an upcoming maternity leave within our Maths department, we seek to appoint a Maths teacher for the remainder of the 2016/17 academic year, with the view to continuing until the absent member of staff returns in 2018. We have a strong Maths department who provide full support to one another in order to consistently provide pupils with the necessary tools to achieve excellent results." Head of Maths.
This is an 11-18 Church of England school with examination results above the national expectation. Located on the outskirts of the town centre close to Robin Park, the school is easily accessible from the surrounding areas; St Helens, Warrington, Chorley, Leigh, Bolton and Salford areas. During its most recent Ofsted report, the school was judged as a 'Good' school across all areas, with the management and leadership of the school being highlighted as a particular strength.
