Maths teacher - Teacher of Maths

Maths teacher required at an Ofsted 'Good' Roman Catholic Secondary School, ASAP start.

Due to an unexpected absence with their Maths department, this 11 -18 RC secondary school wish to appoint a Maths teacher on a temporary basis.

• Full time Maths teacher - ASAP start until the summer

We have a strong Maths department who have consistently achieved excellent results in recent years and the amount of pupils who make expected progress is well above the national average. The incoming Maths teacher will be required to take on a timetable consisting of both KS3 and GCSE classes (Y10 only) and be fully committed to all departmental responsibilities including; Planning and marking, following schemes of work, attending regular training and development opportunities and half termly parents evenings.

The school recently relocated to a purpose built site with teaching and learning at the forefront of the design, and the 1200 students can benefit from excellent provisions for learning. The school aims to ensure students are keen to learn and make outstanding progress in their lessons, and the incoming Religious Education teacher will be able to demonstrate creativity in their subject and encouraging pupil participation.
