Maths Teacher

Teaching Personnel are working with a successful school in the Swansea area seeking a teacher of Maths to join the team in September 2018.

Maths is a popular subject within the school and the department has impressive results across the key stages.

The Headteacher and Head of Department are seeking someone focused on the attainment of all pupils, have proven success at teaching across all abilities, and hold qualified teacher status (QTS). In addition, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate outstanding classroom practice, with a proven record of ensuring excellent progression of all pupils.

You will be joining a small, committed, department, well-resourced and successful faculty. This position is initially a long term position and for the right person it has the potential to become a permanent position.

Behaviour of the students is Good, students behave well in lessons and around the school, and they are eager to learn. This good behaviour and their positive attitudes to learning contribute strongly to the culture and ethos in the school.

The Headteacher is seeking someone committed to improve the behaviour and ensure that it is consistently Outstanding. Attendance is high and bullying is low.
