Maths Teacher – Derbyshire
Daily Rate: £162 – £251
Start Date: September 2025

Are you a passionate and qualified Maths Teacher looking for a new opportunity this September? Teaching Personnel is currently working with secondary schools across Derbyshire seeking a confident and committed Maths specialist to join their team for the 2025/26 academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a subject critical to student success, within supportive and forward-thinking school environments.


Key Details:
Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 available depending on experience)
Inspire students through engaging and challenging lessons
Full-time and part-time positions available
Competitive daily pay: £162 – £251, paid weekly
Ongoing CPD and progression support via Teaching Personnel
Work with a dedicated consultant who will support you every step of the way


Candidate Requirements:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
✅ Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools
✅ Strong classroom management and communication skills
✅ A genuine passion for improving numeracy and problem-solving in young people
✅ Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
