Maths Teacher – Liverpool

Full time Maths Teacher required for a secondary academy in Central Liverpool, to start in January until Easter initially (permanent for the right candidate

Due to an upcoming gap in the Maths department from January 2020, Teaching Personnel’s partner school near Liverpool City Centre are seeking an inspirational and engaging Teacher of Maths until Easter in the first instance.

  • Full time Teacher of Maths required from January 2020
  • Fixed term contract until Easter  in the first instance
  • Opportunity for a permanent role for the perfect candidate
  • Prospective candidates should be comfortable teaching Maths to GCSE
  • OFSTED Good Academy
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490)

Teaching Personnel work with this secondary academy which moved to a new state of the art building in 2006. The school caters for 11-18 pupils working towards and achieving GCSE results, and has a sixth form attached. The school was awarded “Good” during their most recent OFSTED in 2017 and continue to strive towards outstanding.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach within their specialism up to KS4 level, with KS3 lessons also on the timetable. The department are passionate about collaborative planning to reduce the workload of staff, as well as ensuring the quality of teaching and learning is to the highest standards.
