Job description

Teacher of Mathematics required for large mixed comprehensive Secondary school in Salford.

Due to a departmental restructure, there is a temporary requirement for a teacher of Mathematics to join our partner Secondary school in September 2018. This position is initially being offered on a full time temporary basis for two terms, with the possibility of securing a fixed term contract following the successful completion of the first two terms.

Both experienced and newly qualified Teachers of Mathematics are welcome to apply for this post, and relevant support will be given to the successful teacher.

The successful Teacher of Mathematics will join a large Maths faculty, with consistently improving grades and state of the art facilities. Teaching Mathematics across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four, this position will include full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking.

The Ofsted graded 'Good' Secondary school is situated near to the Worsley region of Salford, and has over 1,200 pupils on roll at present. Since 2012, the school has had a dramatic refurbishment through the Salford Schools Project and state of the art facilities are available to ensure all lessons are engaging, creative and inclusive of all learners abilities.

For drivers, the school can be accessed via the A580. Public transportation links from Leigh, Bolton and central Manchester also provide a direct route to the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
