Maths Teacher - Rochdale

Are you a qualified Mathematics teacher looking for the next step in your career teaching career from September 2019?

Teaching Personnel are working alongside one of our partner schools located in Rochdale who are seeking a Maths teacher to join their highly successful and supportive department from September 2019. The role is initially a one year placement, with a view that the successful candidate would gain a permanent contract thereafter.

  • Full time Teacher of Maths role from September 2019
  • Possibility of a permanent contract after initial one year placement

  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£23,720-£39,406)
  • Short drive from M62 motorway

Our partner school located in the Milnrow area of Rochdale is a large and oversubscribed secondary academy. Students in attendance have access to fantastic facilities since the school moved into a new building in 2011. This mixed comprehensive secondary academy is the school of choice for over 1300 students, and has an excellent reputation in the local community, due to recently posting a positive Progress 8 score of 0.38. This indicates the fantastic progress that students make through the hard work and dedication of the staff at the school.

As a Maths teacher at our 'Outstanding' secondary academy, candidates will:

  • Have QTS and relevant qualifications
  • Have experience teaching Maths to both KS3 and KS4
  • Have an ability to inspire children
  • Follow an up-to-date scheme of work supported through online resources
