Maths Teacher required in Lancashire Behavioural Unit

Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Behavioural Unit are based near the Darwen, Lancashire area. The School currently caters for under 50 pupils meaning that class sizes tend to be under 8 pupils per class. The behaviour in this School can be very challenging and candidates must be able to differentiate lessons to suit different abilities in your class and you must also have strong behaviour management skills and/or a Team Teach qualification.

The School is smaller than average and pupils in this School may display both verbally and physically abusive behaviour. However, Teaching Assistants are in every class to help with classroom/behaviour management. The School are looking for a qualified, hard working, enthusiastic and experienced Teacher to deliver predominantly Maths (amongst other subjects) across KS3/4.

The role will start in January 2019 and candidates applying for this role must be available full time. The role will be suited to a passionate Teacher looking to further their career in a forward thinking, behavioural unit.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £90 - 130 per day
