Maths teacher (Raunds, Northamptonshire)

Teaching Personnel are currently working closely with a school in Northamptonshire who are seeking a teacher of Maths to join their successful department. The successful applicant will be required from January however there is the opportunity for the candidate to start work as soon as possible. The teacher will be welcomed into an ambitious school community with an ethos that is inclusive and values that enable success for all. High aspirations for students are fulfilled by recognising and developing student talents as well as ensuring that students set their own individual goals. The role will include teaching Mathematics to KS3/KS4 pupils and working alongside the department to achieve academic success. The school are also focussed on maintaining excellent behaviour standards after they were rated a "Good" school by Ofsted in 2016.

The ideal candidate will

  • Be capable of planning and delivering creative lessons which cater to a variety of learning styles
  • Mark work and monitor assessment data to ensure progress is made
  • Promote the ethos and values of the school to students
  • Work collaboratively with staff members to ensure the department runs smoothly
  • Is dedicated to ensuring pupil achievement is achieved
