Maths teacher needed for Tameside Secondary School

Our client school in Tameside are looking for a Maths teacher to join their department for the new academic year in September 2018. The school is graded Good by Ofsted in all areas and would suit a Maths teacher who is newly qualified or an experienced Maths teacher looking for career progression.

This is a full time Maths position with the option to earn a school based contract after an initial introduction through Teaching Personnel. The Maths department are looking for an inspirational Maths teacher who will make a significant contribution to a department that is achieving just below national averages currently. You will be delivering across KS3 and KS4 Mathematics so previous experience of this is essential.

The school has a large percentage of students eligible for free school meals at 37% due to its diverse catchment area.

Situated in the M34 post code of Tameside this large secondary school is located just off the M60/M67 motorways. For those that don't drive there are regular bus routes and a train station half a mile away.

Maths teachers interested in this vacancy will need to have QTS in the UK, experience teaching in UK secondary schools, suitable teaching reference and be eligible for a fully enhanced DBS.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
