Are you a qualified Mathematics teacher looking to secure a fixed term position from September 2018? Due to an upcoming maternity absence, our client school are looking to appoint a skilled Maths teacher to join them from September to deliver Mathematics to their cohort.

- Well facilitated and modern secondary school in Rochdale

- September 2018 start date, or potentially sooner

- Two term position initially, full time Mathematics teaching timetable

- Easily accessible via M62 motorway from Manchester and Leeds

Our client school is large, mixed secondary school which is situated in Rochdale with over 1200 students currently enrol. The school recently moved into a purpose built site and boasts excellent provisions for learning, which has enabled teaching staff to engage students and caused a consistent climb in attainment in recent years. During their most recent Ofsted inspection, the school's pupils were noted to be very well behaved both in lessons and around the school, with a respectful attitude towards staff and their own learning. The school was judged to be a Good school in 2017, and the leadership team are keen to continue striving for excellence across all avenues and the incoming Maths teacher will benefit from regular access to professional development courses.

Situated near the M62 and A627(M), applicants from surrounding LEAs including Manchester, Bury and Oldham will easily be able to access the school, and non-drivers can benefit from the local train station being a 10 minute walk. A number of staff currently commute from Leeds due to the locality of the M62 motorway.

To be taken in to consideration for this position, any applicants will need to have;

- PGCE or relevant teaching based qualification specialising in Mathematics

- Previous experienced delivering Mathematics at KS3 and GCSE level

- A willingness to commit to a long term Mathematics position from September 2018
