Maths Teacher

We are currently working closely with one of our partner schools in a thriving community comprehensive school of 870 pupils, serving the urban community of Llanelli in south-west Wales. The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a highly-motivated and creative teacher of Mathematics to join the forward-thinking and successful departmental team. The successful candidate will be required to teach across the ability range at both KS3 and KS4. The ability to offer a second subject is desirable.

The successful Teacher of Maths will:

- be a highly-motivated, inspirational and creative teacher with a passion for Mathematics;

- be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record in raising standards;

- be an innovative teacher who will share in our passion and vision for an outstanding department;

- have enthusiasm and a strong commitment to achievement, safeguarding and welfare of all pupils, - support extra-curricular activities.

We are looking for someone who:

- is an inspirational classroom practitioner;

- has excellent planning and organisational abilities;

- has the ability to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils to achieve their best;

- has the drive, passion and enthusiasm to secure the highest-quality learning opportunities and outcomes for pupils;

- can work well on his/her own initiative and as part of a cohesive team.
