Maths Teacher KS3 - Dorchester

Job description

A Middle School based in Dorchester are looking for an experienced Maths Teacher to join their team for an upcoming maternity leave, to start in January with the view to continue for the rest of the academic year.

This is a full-time post with a daily rate of £120 - £160 (depending on experience). You will teach across the age range from year 6 to years 7 and 8, planning engaging lessons and monitoring progress towards GCSE's, while safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children within the School.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Be a confident self-starter who can quickly adapt to a new class, and has the ability to identify and support different levelled students between KS2 and KS3.
  • Have experience and/or knowledge of the AQA syllabus.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
