Maths teacher (Kettering)

Teaching Personnel are currently working closely with a secondary school in Kettering who is seeking a dynamic teacher of Maths to join them in January 2019. The school are committed to raising standards and ensuring a culture of high expectations with values of excellence and resilience. They are continuing to improve with pace; a view which was confirmed during their visit from Her Majesty's Inspector which recognised the progression of the school. As students move through the school they are able to choose courses which stimulate their interests, and give them the strong foundations for their future education and career pathways. The position will be full time and will run up until the end of the academic year in July. You will be part of a supportive and hard working department who are keen to maintain success within Maths.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Capable of teaching Maths up to KS4 with relevant experience in a similar environment
  • Able to plan stimulating lessons which engage students across a variety of learning abilities
  • Monitor student data to ensure progress is made
  • Collaborate actively with the department to ensure the ethos of the school is promoted to students
  • Have excellent behaviour management skills and classroom presence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
