Teaching Personnel have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a vibrant, challenging and successful teaching community in one of Tameside's leading secondary schools. Due to a need within our partner schools Maths department, the school are now looking for a Maths teacher to join the department on a temporary, full-time basis from January 2019 until the end of the academic year.

The successful Maths Teacher will take responsibility of teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 across a range of abilities. Responsibilities of this role will include:

• To plan and deliver lessons that inspires and challenges students to maximize progress in their learning.
• To create an environment that encourages students to be independent and reflective learners.
• To promote high standards of behaviour in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the faculty and school.
• To plan and deliver lessons that meets the specific learning needs of all students within the classes they teach.
• To monitor and assess students' achievements and progress in accordance with arrangements agreed within the faculty and school.
