Maths Teacher - Sheffield
Due to an upcoming gap within the Maths department, Teaching Personnel have been approached by our partner secondary school to recruit for a qualified Maths Teacher. This represents a fantastic opportunity for a Maths Teacher to join a school that is achieving rapid progress under a newly appointed Head teacher. There is also the possibility of a fixed-term contract being offered to the suitable Maths teacher.
- Full time Maths teaching position
- Teaching Maths to both KS3 to KS4
- Located on the outskirts of Sheffield with good public transport links
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (£110 - £165 per day)
- Both newly qualified and experienced Maths teachers encouraged to apply

This role is ideal for any Maths teacher who is looking to secure a progressive role in a school with an outstanding team spirit. The whole teaching staff are dedicated in providing the pupils with the best possible outcomes.
The Head of Maths is an experienced teacher who has high expectations of both staff and pupils. The successful applicant must be fully committed to taking on full teaching responsibilities such as planning, marking and attending termly parents evenings.
Our client is a medium sized school in comparison to those in the surrounding areas with it currently catering for just over 900 pupils. The numbers of pupils eligible for pupil premium and those who speak Maths as an Additional Language are slightly higher than the national average.
It is located on the outskirts of Sheffield offering excellent accessibility from the surrounding areas of Chesterfield, Rotherham and Barnsley via the M1 motorway. There are also direct public transport links to the school from Sheffield city centre.
