Teacher of Mathematics - Maternity Cover (Full Time)

Location: Lytham

Salary: Competitive

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and effective Teacher of Mathematics to join an experienced and committed team of subject specialists delivering mathematics courses across Key Stage 3 GCSE and A level.

The successful candidate will have outstanding subject knowledge and be an expert in mathematics pedagogy. We are looking for someone with a work ethic that focuses on student outcomes and with a deep commitment to on-going formative assessment, who is eager to engage appropriate CPD.

This client school is situated in Lytham (FY8) and provides a high standard of teaching, outstanding pastoral care, and a wide co-curricular programme. They consistently achieve excellent A Level and GCSE results, have the most diverse and successful creative arts development programme for a school in the region and offers a wide range of sports and supports more national representatives through different sports than any other school in the region. A large number of students participate in the Combined Cadet Force and Duke of Edinburgh Award with many achieving their Gold Award.
