Job description

Maths teacher required for a high achieving secondary school close to Poole.

Due to illness within their Maths faculty, our partner school in Poole need for a Maths teacher on a on-part time basis. Ideally starting before January half term, this is a part time position working within a supportive faculty teaching KS3 and GCSE Mathematics to pupils who on the whole achieve results well above the national average. Ofsted last inspected the school early this calendar year and many aspects were graded as outstanding, this included behaviour of pupils and the leadership team.

As a Maths teacher working on a supply basis, you will be required to undertake responsibility to the expectation of the department. Attending meetings after school and marking & planning work with full support of the faculty leader, you will have sufficient release time during this timetable and any newly qualified Maths teachers are welcome to apply with NQT support provided.

  • Supply post initially, earn up to £140 per day (experience dependant)
