Our client secondary school is currently seeking to appoint a Maths teacher to join their department on a full time basis, to start in September. This is a mixed comprehensive secondary school located in Rochdale which is easily accessible via the A664.
• Full time teacher of Maths position starting in September
• Work alongside a highly accredited team, offering extensive amount of support
• Earn in line with the MPS/UPS
• Work in an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ Secondary school
This is a new built secondary school that was established in recent years, when two local schools collaborated and moved to a state of the art building which provides exceptional facilities and provisions for students and staff to thrive in. The school is based in Rochdale, with large proportion of students coming from the surrounding areas and being of a Pakistani heritage. Over the years there has been a dramatic turn around in regards to the increase in progress and attainment leading to a growth in the cohort of students and an increase in their p8 score of 0.17+. The Maths department is a large and successful department, with the staff being passionate and committed to providing all students with the opportunity to achieve and progress.
Requirements to work as a Maths Teacher:
• UK QTS specialising in Maths- newly qualified teachers welcome to apply
• Ability to plan engaging lessons to keep students engaged
• Work alongside the department and contribute to raising standards in Maths
• Experience teaching Maths across different abilities and age groups
