Maths teacher Rochdale

  • MPS/UPS on offer for incoming staff (£22,467 - £38,250)

Required at secondary school in Rochdale, qualified Maths teacher looking for a permanent position.

“We have an upcoming gap in our Maths department from Easter onwards and we are looking to appoint a skilled Maths teacher initially on a temporary basis for the final term. Our client school is an 11-16 secondary school which is well regarded in the local community and is consistently oversubscribed with the large majority of students on roll from the local areas of Balderstone, Burnedge and High Crompton. The school have consistently placed in the top quartile in the LEA in terms of attainment and progress across Key Stages 3 and 4, and the incoming Maths teacher will join a department that boasted their best ever results last academic year.

The school does require the Maths teacher who are applying to have QTS, though those newly qualified Maths teacher are also welcome to apply, and induction years can be supported. The most desirable candidates will have a proven track record of raising attainment and narrowing the gap.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
