Maths required for temporary position from Manchester
Required from January to cover a maternity absence, a qualified Maths teacher with capabilities to deliver a high calibre of lesson across the age and ability ranges.
- Maternity cover for 12 months
- Large, well facilitated Manchester academy secondary
- Earn up to £800 per week on supply
- Local tram station around 5-10 minute walk
Our client secondary in Manchester, is situated just slightly north of the City centre, neighbouring the M60 motor way and can be accessed from Greater Manchester via rail or car. The school recently boasts their highest ever GCSE results and exceeded the national average for progress made by students in Mathematics along with 18% students achieving A/A* in Maths. The school have implemented a number of intervention strategies to ensure targeted and focused learning takes place.
“We are looking to appoint a Maths teacher to join us from January to cover a 12 month maternity leave in our department. We are looking for someone who has previous experience delivering GCSE to mixed abilities and can differentiate accordingly and effectively. We are looking to build on last years success again this year.”
