Due to a gap within the Maths department, the head of Mathematics is looking to appoint a dynamic and forward thinking teacher to join their team from January 2017. During the schools most recent Ofsted inspection, it was deemed a ‘Good’ school with management and leadership/Pupil behaviour being identified as particular strengths within the school.

Maths teachers interested in this position will meet the following criteria;

*Hold full QTS and a PGCE specialising within Maths

*Be able to challenge the learning of pupils across KS3 and 4

*Hold evidence of consisting achieving excellent results with all pupil abilities

*Be committed to playing a key role within the department

This school is average in size with 1000 pupils on roll, located close to Castleton in Rochdale and just 5 minutes drive from the M62 motorway. The successful Mathematics teacher will be joining a larger department with 6 other members of teaching staff who are all very supportive and often team plan between themselves.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
