Maths teacher – Bolton

  • Covering maternity leave from January 2017
  • Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school
  • Full time position, pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant upon experience

Are you a Maths teacher seeking a long term position in the new academic year? Would you like to work within a well managed school where you will join a friendly and vibrant team of staff?

* Full time position, pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant upon experience

* Covering a timetable consisting of both KS3 and GCSE Maths

This mixed comprehensive secondary school is an average in size, with around 800 pupils on role. The school is rapidly improving and Ofsted have described students as having positive attitudes to learning and showing respect for each other and their teachers. The school is located on the border of Bolton and Wigan; it is located just off the M61 and is easily accessible via public transport.

The school has consistently improved year on year and received its best examination results last academic year. The successful applicant will receive full support from an experienced head of Maths who will provide all the necessary support whilst you settle into this position.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
