- Newly developed PRU
- Small group classes teaching maths up to KS4
- Pay depending on experience
Teaching Personnel are looking for an exceptional maths specialist to teach up to KS4 in a newly developed Pupil Referral Unit in Laverstock.The PRU offers a range of learning on its own site including construction trades, Maths, English , horticulture, and mechanics alongside examination courses, work experience placements and personal development.
It caters for children aged between 14 - 16, classes range from 6-8 students.
The emphasis on vocational learning is seen as vital in securing transition pathways at 16 to employment, training and education.
You must have:-
Be understanding and resilient
Be competent to teach Maths to KS4 students
You must have QTS
You will need be a confident and effective teacher who can deliver exciting and fun lessons and be committed to improving outcomes for young people who can display challenging behavior.
