Large Secondary School in Stockport require a Maths teacher to take up a position ideally straight after Easter. Due to a recent unexpected departure this is an excellent opportunity for a fully qualified Maths teacher looking for a new challenge or long term Maths teaching post.

Graded Good by Ofsted in their latest report the school achieves well academically. We take great pride in our excellent examination results, incredible sporting achievements, wide-ranging extra-curricular programme and high quality pastoral care.

You will be teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 so you will need to have previous experience of this. Ideally you will have a proven track record of raising attainment and increasing the [performance of a Maths department. Initially on a long term supply basis to July Teaching Personnel welcomes applications from Maths NQTs or experienced Mathematicians.

The school has just under 1200 students on roll, low levels of EAL and students eligible for free school meals in this affluent catchment area. Last year the school achieved excellent opportunity with 67% of students achieving at least an A*-C grade in their GCSEs.

The school is located in the SK7 post code of Stockport just off the A523 and has public transport links within close vicinity.

**Pay ranging from £95-£160 per day

To be eligible for this post you will need to have suitable references from your most recent Maths teaching practices. You will also need to have a fully enhanced DBS certificate.
