Maths teacher Manchester

  • Long term Maths position starting after October half term
  • Paid to Mscale (up to £32,831) on a supply basis

A secondary school close to central Manchester have a long term supply post for a Maths teacher starting after October half term. This will be working in a large department, teaching Maths across the ability range and reporting directly to the Head of Maths, the school have certain expectations of teachers on supply and the incoming Maths teacher will need to be involved with marking books and planning their own schemes of work using the schools resources.

“We have a temporary position for a Maths teacher starting after October half term, this will be full time and for a full term until February 2017 with the possibility of extending. The incoming Maths teacher will be fully supported by the department, we have expectations for input, marking books and planning your own schemes of work is essential for the incoming teacher”.

Located south of the city centre, this is a large all girls secondary school with excellent facilities and a great reputation for behaviour and results. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
