Mathematics Teacher required in outstanding SEN school

A school in Andover are searching for a Mathematics Teacher who can teach up to GCSE Maths to secondary aged pupils. The school is located in central Andover and caters for pupils that have been excluded from mainstream school due to challenging behavior. The pupils can have a variety of different needs including ADHD, ADD, SEMH, Autism, Aspergers and Speech and Language Difficulties.The school can caters for a maximum of 50 pupils and the pupils are split into classes of 4-5 which are all supported by a Teaching Assistant.

The candidate selected must be fully qualified with experience of teaching up to GCSE Mathematics. Experience with challenging behavior is not compulsory, however the candidate selected must be open minded and prepared to be challenged in a rewarding role.You will be expected to do preparation, planning and fully commit to the role as well as the school itself. CPD courses are not essential, however they are available upon request.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
