Maths Teacher required for Full time Spalding Position

We are working with a School in the Spalding area who require a teacher of Maths to start this September. The position would be delivering Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 only. The School are looking for someone with plenty of energy and enthusiasm to work on a permanent basis.

About the School

A non-selective academy sponsored by CfBT. The Schools aim is to provide an outstanding alternative to the grammar system for Spalding and its surroundings.

The School has been judged ‘an improving school’ in its latest Ofsted report (May 2015), which sees the academy no longer in need of ‘special measures’. Inspectors visited the school and found that students were calm and well-behaved, with those on vocational courses achieving well as a result of effective teaching. They also noted recent improvements in teaching and leadership, including a training scheme that develops staff into coaches who support the work of others, and described governors as skilled and beginning to hold school leaders to account.

High expectations in terms of behavior, with a firm, fair code of conduct are applied consistently and these are understood by students, teachers and parents. Positive, high profile rewards mean that students develop good working relationships with their teachers.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
