MATHS TEACHER REQUIRED FROM FEB 2017 IN A SECONDARY SCHOOL IN PRESTON

Are you an NQT/FQT who holds a secondary PGCE specialising in Mathematics looking for work in Feb 2017? Would you like to work in a state of the art Maths department in an Ofsted judged 'OUTSTANDING' catholic school in Preston?

Required from Feb/March, the school look to appoint a fully qualified Maths teacher to begin a role in their department on a temp 3 month contract teaching KS3/4 Maths. “We have the need for a Maths teacher in February due to an open vacancy, we offer an excellent CPD programme, hard working pupils who are on the whole well behaved and eager to learn. This is a temporary post in the first instance but has the potential to be made permanent”. Deputy Head teacher

In November 2012 the school were inspected by Ofsted and obtained an Outstanding rating. The school is located 5 minutes from the M6 with close links to the M55 and M61 and easily accessible through public transport links.

To be considered for the role, candidate(s) must;

• Hold a UK Maths PGCE with QTS

• Have a degree specialised in Maths (desirable)

• Be able to teach Maths to GCSE level

• Excellent knowledge of the AQA exam board
