Job description

Maths tutors in South East London Primary Schools needed

  • One-to-one or One-to-Two Tuition
  • Fantastic range of schools
  • Part time and Full time positions available

If you’re a qualified teacher or experienced subject specialist, we have rewarding teaching roles available across South East London. As part of our Borderline Boosters pupil intervention programme, we provide pupils deemed to be on the borderline of getting a grade C – D, with intensive high impact tuition.

The tuition is delivered in school, during school hours and is designed to help pupils prepare for their exams by focused teaching on subject knowledge/understanding gaps.

Many of these roles will be starting in September and run until at May 2018 when the SATs exams commence.

This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who are no longer working full time, or for newly qualifying teachers who have time to commit to programmes on a part-time basis.

To register, please email your CV quoting ‘Borderline Boosters’ to jason.alborough@teachingpersonnel.com

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
