Job Opportunity: SEMH Learning Support Assistant

Embark on a rewarding journey as a SEMH Learning Support Assistant at an Ofsted Good secondary school in Wilmslow. Join TEACHING PERSONNEL and make a positive impact on the lives of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This position is available from January until the end of the academic year, with the exciting potential for a permanent role.

Job Responsibilities: As a SEMH Learning Support Assistant, your role will be crucial in providing tailored support to students with SEMH needs. Responsibilities include implementing strategies to address social, emotional, and mental health challenges, collaborating with the SENCO team, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Working Hours:

  • Full-Time: 32.5 hours per week
  • Term-Time: 38.2 weeks per year

Compensation:

  • Competitive Monthly Salary: £1500 - £1800

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experience in supporting students with SEMH needs
  • Familiarity with effective strategies for addressing social, emotional, and mental health challenges
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the SENCO team and teaching staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
