Maths Graduate Job in a Secondary School - Make the first step into Education

  • Role in a Secondary School- Suitable for recent graduates of Maths (or related subjects)
  • Excellent Rates of Pay £130 -
  • Permanent Role available for the right candidate

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Large Secondary School in Northumberland area, who are looking to appoint a Maths Mentor / Tutor. This role would be ideally suited to recent graduates of Maths or related subjects (eg. Accounting etc.) who are considering a career in teaching in the future. The role would include 1:1 and small group work with KS3 and GCSE Maths students to help not only improve their achievement within Maths, but also build their confidence within the subject.

If you are an aspiring teacher, working with Teaching Personnel also gives you access to a range of CPD training courses, including Team Teach, NASEN modules, certificated evening courses at Leeds Trinity University which could all help towards any future applications.

Teaching Personnel can offer competitive daily pay rates of between £60-£80 and weekly payroll, in return for your commitment to this role and having a positive impact within Secondary Schools.

All candidates registering with Teaching Personnel are subject to full vetting and reference checks. Agy.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
