Job description

Maths teacher needed for Manchester based school on the boarder of Trafford to start in January. This forward thinking and progressive school are looking for an aspiring Mathematician to add to an already high performing department.

This is a full time Maths role from January initially for 2 terms with the opportunity to continue on a permanent basis in September 2020. Academically the school is currently performing just below their projected progress 8 score so the incoming Maths teacher would be expected to have a proven track record in raising the attainment of your students.

Located in a diverse area both in terms of its culture and social economically there will be challenges within this role but you will be well supported by an exceptional senior leadership team. Applications are welcome from Maths NQTs or more experienced Math teachers who are seeking a new role and available for January 2020.

A full timetable will consist of Maths delivery across Years 7-11 with some GCSE classes involved. Interviews will be conducted in the upcoming half term prior to the Christmas holidays so you will need to be available for this.
