An exciting opportunity awaits you at one of Teaching Personnel our reputable secondary school in the Ashton area. We are currently seeking a skilled Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Location: Ashton

Contract Type: [Full-Time], [Permanent]

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Role Overview:

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher and students in their learning journey. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of learning materials and resources.
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who may need additional assistance.
  • Collaborating with the classroom teacher to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Supervising students during activities and break times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Monitoring and recording student progress and behavior, and providing feedback to the teacher.
  • Contributing to the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
  • Building positive relationships with students, parents, and other staff members.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.

  • Previous experience working in an educational setting, preferably at the secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A genuine passion for education and the desire to make a difference in students' lives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
