Full-time Maths Teacher required from September 2019 for a forward thinking Secondary school located in Bolton. This is an exciting Maths Teacher position for an exceptional practitioner to join a highly successful Maths department.

This popular mixed comprehensive Secondary School is located between the Bolton a Bury border and serves pupils aged 11-16. The current intake boasts just over 80-0 pupils with the cohort typically achieving in line with national averages in terms of attainment. During the most recent Ofsted inspection, the Secondary school was judged to be 'Good', which is a clear indication of the relentless work put in place by staff, pupils and parents amongst the community.

The school is seeking to appoint an exceptional Maths Teacher to join their friendly staff team and to support the development of the Maths curriculum. As the successful Maths Teacher, you will be required to provide outstanding teaching and learning for pupils across Key Stages 3 & 4.

The responsibilities for the incoming Maths Teacher will include but may not be limited to;

  • Motivate, challenge and inspire pupils within the Mathematics department across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Be committed to raising the achievement of every pupil at all levels of learning.
  • Have high expectations and be committed to the school values, ethos and vision;
  • Be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure the highest standards of pupil achievement, personal development, and well-being are achieved.

The school can be easily accessed via the M60 and from the surrounding areas; Salford, Preston, and Wigan. There is also an abundance of public transport options readily available with links across Greater Manchester.
