Our client secondary school in the centre of Warrington is looking for a passionate Maths teacher to join them following the Easter break. The successful Maths teacher will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 Maths on a full time basis covering a maternity leave. This role will therefore be for the final term of this academic year and has the opportunity to continue into the September term aswell depending on the Maths teacher's availability.

As a full time position, the successful teacher of Mathematics will be expected to fully immerse themselves in school life, taking on all planning and marking responsibilities. The Maths department at this highly reputable secondary school is fairly large with 7 Maths teachers currently working within the department. The successfully appointed Mathematics teacher will therefore have the benefit of collaborating with a team of professionals who are all highly supportive of each other.

Highlights of this Maths teaching position:

  • Full time Maths teacher required starting Monday 8th April 2019
  • Pay will be based on teacher's payscale and experience
  • Applications are encouraged from teachers of any experience level including NQT to more experienced teachers
  • Full planning and marking responsibilities will be included as part of this teaching position

This secondary school values an enriched educational experience for all students ensuring that progress is built upon. They are therefore looking for a Mathematics teacher who can teach innovative and enthusiastic Maths lessons, keeping students engaged with daily school life, building on the progress already made. There will be an element of the timetable where GCSE teaching will be required so any relevant experience of teaching the KS4 curriculum will be beneficial.

This secondary school is situated in the central Warrington area making it very easy to access via the many A-roads and motorway network. Being located in close proximity to the M6, M56 and the A56 and A57, those Maths teachers that drive will find commuting to the school easy enough. Those on public transport will find the central Warrington station closeby, making the commute on public transport also convenient.
