Qualified Maths Teacher required for September 2017 for Newport, Essex based Secondary School

  • £22,244 to £36,000 per annum
  • Large School with strong values on support, and if an NQT, completing your induction year
  • Full time role, with full responsibilities, including planning and preparation.

A large Secondary School in Newport, Cambridgeshire, are seeking a Mathematics Teacher for a full time role beginning in September 2017. This role would be ideal if you are a Newly Qualified Teacher / NQT, Fully Qualified Teacher / FQT, or an Overseas Trained Teacher. There is a possibility that for the right candidate, the position will become permanent, and there is the possibility of progression in your career.

The school is located in Newport, 30 minutes from Cambridge and near Saffron Walden. They are located only 10 minutes from the local train station and have on site parking for private transport. The school has around 1000 pupils on role. They have a large site with modern facilities and are developing the site even further. All the Teachers have a vision to reach ‘Outstanding’ status in their next Ofsted inspection, and they are looking for someone to join the team who can contribute to this vision.

As the ideal candidate you will:

- Specialise in Maths

- Be able to deliver to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, up to and including GCSE

- Have a strong dedication to promoting the best in each student

- Aim to develop a strong rapport with students and colleagues

- Have strong behaviour management skills, to maintain behaviour within the class

This is a fantastic opportunity with great rates of pay! You could earn up to £36,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications!
