Qualified Maths Teacher required for School in Bridlington

My client school has started the search for a Qualified Maths Teacher (Mathematics Teacher) for a potential role starting in February 2020 until the end of the academic year. If you are a Qualified Maths Teacher (Mathematics Teacher) that can work in Bridlington then we would like to hear from you. This potential role is on a full-time basis starting in February 2020 until the end of the academic year. As a Qualified Maths Teacher (Mathematics Teacher), you will be required to plan and deliver the subject to key stage 3 (KS3) and key stage 4 (KS4), including GCSE classes.

Our requirements for this Mathematics Teacher (Maths Teacher) role means you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (Newly Qualified teachers also welcome to apply) - please note you must hold QTS to be considered for this role
  • Relevant degree qualification in Mathematics (Maths)
  • Experience of working with secondary age children, which can be referenced
  • Be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS)
  • Be passionate about working with children and young people
  • Possess the motivation to achieve and add value to the school
  • Be flexible, punctual, professional and approachable

The role is to start in February 2020 and it will be full-time until the end of the academic year. The school is prepared to wait until Easter 2020 for the perfect Qualified Maths Teacher (Mathematics Teacher) to start. This is a great opportunity to work as part of a committed team, providing a service to the staff and pupils of the schools and work would be available immediately after vetting clearance.

Responsibilities would include:

  • Delivering Mathematics to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, including GCSE classes
  • Be passionate in your pursuit to create future mathematicians
  • Planning, marking and assessing all schemes of work
  • Preparing Year 11 for their GCSE's exams

You can expect a pay that reflects your experience and teacher pay-scale, paid on a weekly basis by Teaching Personnel on PAYE.
