Maths teacher

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Maths teacher on behalf of our client school located in Wigan ahead of the new academic year.

Due to a member of staff gaining promotion, a rare opportunity has emerged within our client school for any Maths teacher looking for the next step forward in their career.

• Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£22,917 - £38,633)

"Due to an internal promotion within our school, we are looking to appoint a Maths teacher from September 2018. The incoming Maths teacher will receive full support from our close knit team of staff and experienced senior leadership team. Applications from both experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome, with full induction support available to NQT's" - Head of Maths.

The successful Maths teacher will be required to lead a timetable consisting of both KS3 and GCSE classes of which pupils range in ability. The department hope to appoint a Maths teacher with the ability to consistently delivering good and outstanding practice to enable their students to receive the highest quality of teaching and learning.

This catholic 11-16 secondary school have a large Maths department made up of 8 other member of staff. Located in close to Orrell, the school is easily accessible from the surrounding areas; St Helens, Leigh, Warrington, Chorley and Bolton. On site parking is available to all staff and the facilities in school are state of the art, building developments in 2015 have given classrooms a modern look with excellent resources. There are just over 950 pupils on roll in school with a lower than average number of pupils who speak English as an additional language.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
