Mathematics teacher required for two terms from January.
"Due to an unexpected gap within the Mathematics department, we wish to appoint a teacher to join our faculty from January 2018. This position will initially be offered for two terms until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of securing a permanent post in the new academic year. It is essential that the successful Maths teacher can successfully implement our ethos and values into innovative lessons."
- Full time Mathematics teaching position, January 2018 start
- Planning, delivering and assessing lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Ofsted graded 'Good' Secondary school, north of Bury town centre
- Pay in line with teaching scale point (£22,917 - £38,633 per annum/pro rata).
The large mixed comprehensive Secondary school has recently been fully refurbished and each department has access to state of the art facilities, with an integrated 'learning hub' for ICT based sessions. The incoming teacher of Mathematics will join a successful department consisting of eight teachers. Grades have consistently been above the national average in Mathematics, with 79% achieving a grade <5.
Located towards the north of Bury town centre, our partner secondary school is accessible via the M66 motorway. Public transportation links from Bolton, central Manchester and Rochdale also provide a direct route to the school.
