Are you a qualified Maths Teacher with QTS?
Are you seeking full-time work from Easter 2017?
Are you available for a long term role?
If the answer is yes to all the above questions then I have the perfect role for you. A client school of mine in Preston are seeking a full-time Maths Teacher from April 2017 until the end of the summer to cover a planned absence within the department. The position is teaching KS3/4 Maths up to GCSE level and will involve the full planning and preparation of lessons, marking of students work and attendance at whole school/ departmental meetings.
Ideally, the school would be looking to take someone on a permanent basis from September 2017, so this will be a perfect 'foot in the door' opportunity for you. The school has around 900 students on roll and is easily accessible via public transport links with on site parking facilities. Behaviour of the students is generally good, however some may present challenging behaviour.
The school are looking to meet with Maths Teachers the WB 12/12/16 so any applications need to be made before the end of this week. Please contact Hayley ASAP on 01772 842155 or send an email to hayley.slater@teachingpersonnel.com
