Due to a restructure within the Maths department our client secondary school is currently seeing to appoint a teacher of Maths on a full time basis to start in September.

Our client school is a mixed 11-16 secondary located in Rochdale, which is accessible from the surrounding areas of Manchester Oldham and Bury with the M62 being situated close by. The school was recently established when two schools collaborated and moved into a brand new state of the art building which provides exceptional facilities for both student and staff. With the school being located in Rochdale and serving the diverse local community, the majority of students are from a Pakistani heritage, therefore the amount of students that speak English as an additional language is above the national average though a comprehensive EAL department and provisions ensure all students achieve in line with one another. Over recent years the school has made consistent improvements with their increase in progress and attainment leading to a growth in the cohort of students and an increase in their p8 score of 0.17+.

Requirements to work as a Maths Teacher:

• UK qualified teacher specialism in Mathematics

• Teaching Maths across KS3-GCSE to different ability students

• Both newly qualified and experience teacher are encouraged to apply

• Ability to plan and deliver tailored lessons to engage all abilities.
